When the water valve on an Electrolux washer fails
When the wash starts, the control board powers the coils it needs, opening outlets that send water through the matching section of the dispenser. The flowmeter inside reports the volume so the board can stop the fill at the right moment. Replacing the valve
Before starting, turn off the tap and isolate the washer at the wall. Take off the top panel, then disconnect the fill hose from the back. Label the internal hoses so each goes back on the same outlet, and take a photo of the coil and flowmeter wiring. Swap the valve over, reconnect, then turn the water on slowly and watch the connections during a rinse cycle.
