Electrolux dryer slow or showing a filter warning
In a condenser or heat pump dryer, the fluff filter is the first line of defence for the heat exchanger. Air from the drum passes through the filter, which traps lint before it can coat the condenser and block airflow. If the filter is torn, warped or will not seat properly, lint slips through and builds up where it is hard to clean. Common signs are longer drying times, clothes still damp at the end of a cycle, a filter or condenser warning on the display, and a dryer that runs warmer than normal.

Changing and caring for the filter
Switch the dryer off and open the door once the drum has stopped. Pull the old filter straight out of its slot and clear any loose fluff from the opening with a soft brush. Push the new filter in until it sits flush. Empty the filter after every cycle and rinse it under running water when fine lint clogs the mesh, letting it dry before refitting.
