Electrolux front loader not filling with water
An inlet valve is a solenoid operated gate between the tap and the machine. When the control calls for water, the coil pulls the valve open, and when power drops a spring closes it again. A burnt out coil leaves the machine sitting empty, often with a fill error or a long pause at the start of the cycle. A worn diaphragm or debris on the seat does the opposite and lets water seep in. Before ordering, check the tap is fully open and clean the small filter screen where the hose connects.

Fitting the valve
