Signs your right hand trivet should be replaced
The trivet carries the weight of pots and pans over the right side burners and keeps them stable while you cook. Years of heat cycling, spills and cleaning take a toll. Placing the new trivet
Turn off every burner and let the cooktop cool. Remove the old trivet and clean any grease from the cooktop and burner caps while they're exposed. Set the new trivet in place so its feet line up with the locating points, then check it's level with the left side. Light each burner under it to make sure the flame isn't touching or being deflected by the arms.
