Changing the gasket at the front of the drum
Switch off and unplug the dryer first. Take photos as you remove the panels so screws, wiring and the belt go back correctly. Peel the old gasket away and clean the surface it sat on, removing lint and any old glue. Fit the new gasket so it sits flat all the way round, refit the drum and panels, then spin the drum by hand and listen for rubbing before running a short cycle.
