Fitting the new lint filter
Switch the dryer off and open the door. Pull the old filter straight out of its housing, then vacuum any lint that has built up in the slot underneath. Push the new filter in until it seats fully and the door closes without catching. If your dryer has a second filter stage, check and clean that as well.
