Replacing a dryer drum seal
Unplug the dryer before taking any panels off. On most dryers the drum has to come out to reach the seal, which means releasing the belt and removing the front panel first. Photograph each step so the belt routing and wiring go back the same way. Clean away lint and any old adhesive from the mating surface, fit the new seal evenly all the way round, then turn the drum by hand to check it runs freely before a test run.
