Electrolux washer recirculation pump faults
Unlike the drain pump, which empties the machine, the recirculation pump moves water from the bottom of the tub back into the drum during the wash. This helps the load soak through evenly. When it fails, you may hear humming or grinding while washing, find parts of the load poorly wetted, or see an error code on the display. A coin, hair clip or lint caught in the impeller is a common cause, so check for debris before replacing the pump.

Fitting the recirculation pump
Unplug the washer, turn off the taps and drain any water through the filter or emergency hose before starting. The pump is reached from the bottom or back of the machine. Take photos of the hoses and wiring, keep towels ready for trapped water, and secure the hose clamps firmly. Run a short wash to check for leaks and normal operation.
