It's the pull-out drawer you fill with powder, liquid or softener on Electrolux group front loaders. Drawers differ in shape, handle style and compartment layout between models, so compare yours or check the number on your parts list before ordering.

Common detergent drawer problems

The drawer slides in and out daily and sits in the path of the water used to flush detergent into the machine. Hinged flaps and siphon caps can snap, the front can crack, and detergent residue builds up until the drawer sticks. A damaged drawer can let water spray out the front during filling, leave detergent behind, or stop closing fully. If the drawer is intact, a good soak and scrub of the drawer and its cavity often brings it back. Replace it when parts are broken or missing.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 8581327307071

Linked number 132730707

Detergent drawer

Pull-out drawer for Electrolux group front loaders, model list not held

Fitting the new drawer

With the washer off, pull the drawer out to its stop, press the release tab, usually found in the softener compartment, and lift it free.
