Swapping the temperature probe
Unplug the washing machine and turn off the taps. Depending on the model, the probe is reached by removing the back or front panel. Photograph the connector first, ease the old probe out of its seat and push the new one fully home. Reconnect the plug firmly, refit the panels and run a warm wash to check the machine heats.
