Oven toggle switch broken, loose or not working?

Changing the toggle switch
Switch the oven off at the wall and close the gas isolation valve. Remove the control panel cover, photograph the wires on the old switch, and move them across one at a time to the matching terminals on the new switch. If the oven is hard-wired or any gas component has to be disturbed, call a licensed electrician or licensed gas fitter. Test the switch before refitting the panel.
