Older Nova ovens without a fan use this genuine EGO oven thermostat, part number 85805410012074, supplied through Electrolux and also listed as 0541001207. It suits the conventional, non fan forced versions only. If your Nova oven has a fan forced cavity, the matching thermostat is 85805417772084 instead. Check the oven's rating plate or the markings on the old thermostat to be sure.
Nova oven running too hot, too cold or not at all
The oven thermostat senses the cavity temperature and switches the elements on and off to hold the setting you choose on the dial. When it fails, the oven may not heat at all, may stay on and overheat, or may run well off the set temperature so baking burns or stays undercooked. A thermostat that clicks but no longer switches the elements is another common fault. Test the actual temperature with an oven thermometer before deciding the thermostat is to blame.
