Side racks give the shelves their positions, and the shelves carry everything from roasting dishes to pizza trays. Over years of cleaning and heavy use, racks can bend, lose their finish or go missing during a deep clean, and shelves start to sag or rust. When shelves won't slide in straight, tip forward when pulled out, or the grill tray no longer sits securely, it's time to replace them. Fitting the racks and shelves
Make sure the oven is off and completely cool. Unhook the old side racks from their mounting points, wipe the oven walls while they're out, then hook the new left and right racks into place. Slide the shelves in on the runners with any raised back edge at the rear. Fit the grill tray support and inserts, then add your grill trays, which are sold separately.
