Getting the shelf in right
Let the oven cool before removing the old shelf. Check its orientation as it comes out, especially which edge faces the back and whether any upturned rail sits at the rear. Slide the new shelf onto the same runners the same way round, then pull it forward gently to make sure it stops securely.
