Fitting the canopy assembly
Turn the oven off at the isolating switch or switchboard and let it cool fully. Most built-in ovens need to come out of the cabinet to reach the fan canopy. Photograph the wiring and the position of any air ducts before removing the old assembly, and transfer clips or brackets only if the new one doesn't come with them. If the oven is hard-wired, have a licensed electrician disconnect and reconnect it.
