Product details

A push-in style seal for the freezer compartment, 841363P is the genuine Fisher & Paykel gasket for F&P's 635 bottom mount fridges, the 635mm wide range. Push-in seals locate in a groove around the door or drawer front, so swapping one doesn't involve undoing screws. We hold no model list for this seal, so check your model and serial number and confirm 841363P appears in its parts list.

Ice and frost around the freezer seal?

Freezer seals face harsher conditions than fridge seals, because the cold makes the seal stiffer and more prone to tearing. When a freezer gasket leaks, humid air gets in, frost builds on the walls and food, and the freezer works harder to keep up. A seal can also freeze to the cabinet and rip when the door or drawer is pulled. Check for splits, gaps, hard spots and areas where frost forms just inside the seal line.

Pushing in the new seal

Power the fridge down at the wall and keep frozen food somewhere cold. Starting at one corner, pull the old seal out of its groove. Press the new seal's locating edge into the groove, working along each side and finishing at the corners. Check it meets the cabinet evenly, then switch on and let the freezer pull back down to temperature.
