Fisher & Paykel ice maker making small, stuck or no ice?
The automatic ice maker fills this tray with water, waits for it to freeze, then twists the tray to drop the cubes into the bin below. Each twist flexes the plastic, and in time the tray can crack or split, especially at the corners. A cracked tray leaks water before it freezes, leading to ice stuck to the tray or in a block in the bin, cubes frozen together, water dripping onto the freezer floor, or very small or hollow cubes. A tray that won't twist cleanly can also stall the ice maker.

Fitting the ice tray
Turn the ice maker off and switch the fridge off at the wall. Empty the ice bin. Release the old tray from its drive and mounting points, noting how it lines up, then fit the new tray the same way. Restore power, turn the ice maker back on and throw away the first few batches of ice.

Why are my ice cubes small or stuck together?
Low water pressure, a part-blocked water filter or a cracked tray are the usual causes. If the tray is split, water escapes before freezing and cubes fuse or come out undersized. Check the tray for cracks before replacing other parts.
