Part 836702 is the genuine right hand slide assembly, marked 355, for drawers in Fisher & Paykel fridges. It is on file for the RF442BLPW6 and RF442BLPX6, the RF442BRGW6 and RF442BRGX6, the RF442BRPUX6, and the RF442BRPW6 and RF442BRPX6, along with the E442BRXFD5, the E442BRXFDJ5 and the E442BRXFDU. This listing covers the right hand side only.
Fridge drawer hard to open, dropping or off its runner
Slides carry the drawer and its load, letting it roll out smoothly and close square. When a slide bends, cracks or its moving parts wear, the drawer drags, drops at one corner, jumps off its track or won't close fully. A drawer that doesn't shut properly lets warm air in, which can lead to frost and higher running costs. Overloading and forcing a jammed drawer are common causes. Check both sides, as damage to one slide often means the other has taken extra strain.

Replacing the drawer slide
Switch the fridge off at the wall if you need to work near lights or wiring, and empty the drawer first. Pull the drawer out to its stop and release it from the slides as shown in your user guide, then undo the screws holding the old slide. Fit the new slide in the same holes, refit the drawer and check it runs smoothly and closes fully.
Questions about this part
How do I know which side I need?
Stand facing the fridge with the drawer open. The right hand slide is on your right. This listing is the right hand slide only, so if the left side is damaged too, order the matching left hand part as well.
