Lift the shelf out and lay it on a towel so the edges don't get chipped. Ease out what's left of the old plug, then press the new one into the trim until it sits flush. Check you're working on the left end as viewed from the front of the fridge, since this plug is made for that side. No power isolation is needed for this job.
