Cracked or slipping Miele cooktop knob?
A control knob does a simple job, but when it fails the cooktop becomes awkward or unsafe to use. Fitting the new knob
Make sure the cooktop is off and cool. Pull the old knob straight off the shaft without twisting or levering against the glass or panel. Line the flat on the shaft up with the slot in the new knob and press it home until it sits flush. Check it turns smoothly through every position and points to off when closed.
