A door seal has a magnetic strip inside its rubber profile that pulls it tight against the cabinet when the door closes. If the seal is torn, flattened or has pulled away from the door at a corner, warm moist air leaks in. Fitting the new seal

Turn the fridge off at the wall. New seals are folded for packing, so warm the seal in the sun or with a hair dryer on low to soften it and remove the creases. Note how the old seal is held, either pressed into a groove or fixed under a retaining lip, then remove it and fit the new one all the way around. Close the door and check for gaps before switching back on.
