It runs around the edge of the door and seals against the cabinet whenever the door closes. Signs your Fisher & Paykel fridge door seal is failing

A door seal keeps cold air in and warm, humid kitchen air out. Once it tears, flattens or pulls away at the corners, the fridge has to work harder and you'll usually notice it. Fitting a new fridge door seal

Switch the fridge off at the wall while you work on the door. Unpack the seal and let it sit at room temperature to relax any creases from packaging, or warm stubborn folds gently with a hair dryer on low. Fit the corners first, then work along each side. Check the door closes evenly and the seal touches the cabinet all the way around.
