Fitting the thermistor kit
Switch the fridge off at the wall first. The thermistor is usually clipped inside the cabinet, often behind a cover near the controls or air duct, with its wires joined to the harness. Make solid, sealed joins on the leads so moisture cannot get in, as damp joins cause false readings. Clip the new sensor into the same spot, power up and give the fridge a day to settle.
