It fits onto the shaft of a small fan motor and is sold as the blade only. Electrolux uses many fan blades that look similar but differ in diameter, pitch, rotation direction and shaft fitting, so compare the old blade or confirm your model before ordering 8116996045.

Noisy fan or poor airflow? Check the fan blade

The blade turns with the motor and pushes air through the appliance, carrying heat away from components or moving cooled air where it is needed. Blades crack, lose a fin, warp from heat or come loose on the shaft. When that happens you may hear clicking, ticking, rattling or a loud whirr, feel vibration through the cabinet or notice the appliance struggling to hold temperature because air is no longer moving properly. If the motor still spins freely and quietly by hand, replacing the blade on its own is usually enough.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part number 8116996045

White fan blade

Blade only, motor not included

Colour

White

Swapping the fan blade

Switch the appliance off at the wall before removing any covers, and keep fingers clear of the blade until the power is isolated.
