Fitting a G9 halogen oven globe
Switch the oven off at the wall or switchboard and let it cool right down. Unscrew or unclip the lamp cover, then pull the old capsule straight out of its holder. Handle the new globe through a tissue, since fingerprints on halogen glass create hot spots. Press it fully home, refit the cover and its seal, and check the light works.
