Rangehood light not working
These globes light the cooktop below the rangehood. LED globes last much longer than halogen, but they still fail eventually, and the heat and grease above a cooktop don't help. A dead globe, one that flickers or one that's noticeably dimmer than its neighbour is worth replacing. If a new globe doesn't light, check the globe holder and the light switch before assuming a bigger fault. Replacing all the globes together keeps the colour and brightness even.

Changing a GU10 globe
Switch the rangehood off and isolate the power, then let the old globe cool if it was on. Depending on the model, you may need to remove a light cover or the grease filter first. GU10 globes twist out, so push in gently and turn anticlockwise to release. Line up the two pins of the new globe, push in and turn clockwise until it locks.

Do I need to replace all the globes?
No, you can replace just the faulty one. This listing is for one globe. If your other globes are an older type, the new LED may look a little different in colour, so some people replace the whole set at once.
