Swapping the filter

Turn the rangehood off and let the hood and filter cool. Most filters release with a spring catch or tab at the front, so support the filter with your other hand as you release it. Wipe the inside of the hood while it's open, then fit the new filter the same way the old one came out and push it up until the catch locks.
