Leak at a hose joint?

A hose clamp squeezes the hose evenly around its spigot so water can't escape and the hose can't pull free under pressure or vibration. Fitting the clamp

Turn the appliance off at the wall, and turn off the water if the hose is under supply pressure. Slide the clamp over the hose before pushing the hose fully onto its spigot. Position the band just behind the raised lip of the spigot, then tighten it evenly until the hose is snug. Don't overtighten, as that can cut into the rubber. Run the appliance and check for drips.
