Leaks and smells from a worn Bosch door gasket
Every time the door closes, the gasket is squeezed between the glass and the front of the tub to keep the wash water in. Heat, detergent and the odd forgotten coin or hairpin all take a toll, especially in the lower fold where water sits. Look for drips along the bottom edge of the door, damp flooring in front of the machine, perished or sticky rubber, and dark mould stains that keep coming back.

Changing the gasket
Pull the power plug before you begin. Spring off the outer retaining clamp, ease the gasket away from the front panel lip, then undo the inner clamp at the tub. Line the new gasket up with the marks on the tub, work the lip on evenly all the way round, and check for twists before refitting both clamps. Run a short program to confirm it seals.
