Broken dishwasher top rack, rusty tines or wheels coming off?
The upper basket holds cups, glasses and small bowls in the top half of the tub. Rackmatic lets you raise or lower the whole basket using the adjusters on each side, so tall plates fit underneath or long-stemmed glasses fit on top. Years of loading and hot detergent take a toll. The coating cracks and tines rust, the flip tines snap, the height adjusters stop locking, and the frame can bend so the basket drags or drops off its rails. Swapping the upper basket
Pull the upper basket all the way out on its rails. Bosch baskets are usually held by end stops or clips at the front of each rail, which flip open or unclip to let the basket roll off. Lift the new basket onto the rails, refit the stops and slide it in and out a few times to check it runs freely and clears the spray arm.
