Tips for fitting a new boot gasket
Pull the power plug and shut off the water before starting. Ease off the outer clamp ring with a flat screwdriver, then work the boot off the cabinet lip. Note where the drain hole and any alignment mark sit before removing the inner clamp. Soapy water on the lips makes the new boot easier to seat. Run a rinse cycle afterwards and check the floor for leaks.
