BSH writes its part numbers with two leading zeros, so the same seal can appear as 00772658 on a parts list or packet. The boot is the thick rubber collar that joins the door opening to the outer tub. Bosch makes several boot gaskets that look much alike, including vented and suds resistant versions, so matching the number matters.
Signs your Bosch washing machine door seal is leaking
With the door shut, the glass presses against the boot and the boot seals the space between the cabinet front and the tub, keeping water in while the drum turns. The rubber takes a beating. Coins, bra wires and hair clips get trapped in the fold and cut it, and detergent and age harden it until it splits. Look for water on the floor below the door, drips down the front panel after a cycle, black mould you can't scrub off, or a hole when you fold the lip back. Left alone, a leak can reach the motor and wiring under the tub.

Replacing the door boot on a Bosch front loader
Unplug the machine and turn off both taps first. Most Bosch front loaders hold the boot with a clamp ring around the door opening and a second clamp around the tub lip, and you may need to remove the front panel to reach the inner one. Photograph each step, line up any marks on the new boot with the tub, then run a short rinse and watch for drips.
