Replacing a worn Bosch top basket

This assembly is the top basket of the dishwasher, where cups, glasses and lightweight items are loaded. It travels on wheels along a rail on each side of the tub. Wear shows up as rust spots where the coating has split, snapped tines, loose or missing wheels, and a basket that wobbles or drops off the rails when pulled out. Rust flakes can end up on glasses or in the filter and pump. Replacing the full assembly is often quicker than chasing individual clips and wheels.

Fitting the basket assembly

Roll the old basket out fully and look at how it is held at the end of each rail, usually by a stop or clip. Release those, lift it clear and keep any parts that are not supplied with the new basket. Fit the new assembly onto the rails, replace the stops, then load a few glasses and check it slides in without catching on the upper spray arm.

Questions about this part

How do I check this basket suits my Bosch?
