Product details
Smeg uses this genuine spray arm bush, part 760570371, across a huge range of its dishwashers, with nearly 500 models on file. Among them are the DWA314X, DWA315X, DWAU315X, DWAFI149, LSA6445X, LSA6447X, LS645XNL2, DI6013, DF613SDX and the BLV2 models. The bush is a small part, but when it wears or cracks the spray arm can't do its job properly.
Smeg dishwasher spray arm wobbling or not spinning?
Spray arms spin on water pressure, and the bush is the bearing surface that holds the arm in place while letting it turn freely. A worn or broken bush lets the arm wobble, drop, rub on the rack or tub, or stop spinning altogether. The result is patchy cleaning, with food left on dishes in one area, a knocking or scraping noise during the wash, and sometimes water escaping past the hub instead of going out through the jets. Broken pieces of bush can also end up in the filter.

Fitting the spray arm bush
Turn the dishwasher off at the wall and slide out the rack above or below the spray arm to reach it. Note how the old bush sits and which way it faces before taking it out. Fit the new bush the same way round, refit the spray arm and spin it by hand to make sure it turns freely without catching on the rack or tub.
