When a fridge water line needs replacing

Cutting and connecting 6mm tube

Turn off the water supply before removing the old line. Use a sharp blade or tube cutter to get a clean, square end, as a ragged or crushed end can leak. Push the tube firmly into each fitting until it stops, then pull back gently to make sure it's held. Leave a loop of slack behind the fridge so it can be moved out without stretching the line, and check every joint once the water is back on.
