Smeg dishwasher leaking from the door?
The tub gasket is pressed into a channel around the front edge of the tub, and the door closes against it to keep spray inside during the wash. Hot water, detergent and years of compression make the rubber harden, shrink or split, and food grit can wear grooves into it. Leaks usually show as drips running down the front of the door or water on the floor near the top corners. A seal that has pulled out of its channel, feels stiff or is coated in mould that won't wash off should be replaced.

Fitting the tub gasket
Turn the dishwasher off at the wall and open the door fully. Pull the old gasket out of its channel and clean the groove of grime and old detergent. Begin in the middle of the top edge and press the new seal in evenly, working toward each end without stretching it. Close the door to check it seats all the way round, then run a short cycle and watch for leaks.
