Models on file are the SA920MF and SA415X, the SA392EB and SA390NE, the SA380X2, the SA365X and SA360X1, the SA210X-5 and the FS64MF/A. It fits around the oven opening, where the door presses against it to keep heat and steam inside the cavity.
Smeg oven losing heat around the door?
An oven seal does a simple job that's easy to overlook. It closes the gap between the door and the oven front, keeping the heat where the food is and stopping hot air from washing over the knobs and fascia. Seals harden and shrink with age, and their clips or hooks can break, leaving gaps. You might notice steam or smoke escaping at the top of the door, longer cooking and preheat times, food burning on one side, or discoloured trim above the door. A torn or flattened seal is a clear sign it's time for a new one.

Fitting the Smeg oven seal
Let the oven cool fully and switch it off at the isolating switch. Open the door wide, or take it off its hinges for better access. Check how the old seal is fixed before removing it, usually with hooks or clips pushed into holes in the oven front. Start fitting the new seal at the top centre, push each fixing home and work outwards around the opening.
