Fitting both filters

Turn the hood off at its controls and allow the lamps to cool before you reach inside. Lift out the grease filters, then remove the used carbon filters, noting which way they lock in. Install the two new filters, refit the grease filters and run the fan to make sure nothing rattles. Reset the filter reminder if your rangehood has one.
