Product details
Enamel baking tray 742278, also written 00742278, is a genuine BSH oven accessory for Bosch, Siemens and Neff ovens. It's sized to slide into the shelf runners of the ovens it's listed for, so it sits square and stays put. BSH makes trays in several widths and depths to suit different cavities, so check 742278 against your oven's parts or accessory list before ordering.
Why replace an oven baking tray
An enamel tray is the everyday workhorse for roasting, baking biscuits or catching drips beneath a rack. The enamel coating is easy to wipe clean and handles oven heat, but it can chip if the tray is dropped or banged, and it may warp if plunged into cold water while hot. A warped tray rocks on the runners, spills juices and cooks unevenly. Chipped enamel can also rust. A tray made for your oven fits the runners properly rather than sliding about.

Using the tray
Slide the tray onto the runners with any sloped edge facing the door, as your oven manual shows. Before first use, wash it in warm soapy water and dry it. Let the tray cool in the oven before washing, and soak stubborn residue rather than scouring the enamel with steel wool or harsh abrasives.
