De'Longhi also calls it an extractable assembly, because it slides out of the machine for rinsing. Brew units are matched to particular machine ranges, and De'Longhi has other infusers with very similar numbers, so check your machine's details before you buy.

Signs your De'Longhi brew unit is worn out

Every coffee passes through the infuser. It takes the freshly ground dose, presses it into a firm puck, lets hot water push through, then drops the spent puck into the grounds container. Worn seals and moving parts show up as watery or weak coffee, wet sloppy pucks, coffee or water ending up in the drip tray instead of the cup, or grinding noises as the unit moves. A cracked frame or broken lever can stop the unit locking in, and the machine may refuse to brew or flag a brew unit fault.

Part details

Genuine De'Longhi part 7313251441

Removable infuser (brew unit), also called the extractable assembly

For De'Longhi automatic bean to cup coffee machines

Similar numbered infusers exist, match the full number

Fitting and caring for the new infuser

Turn the machine off and unplug it, then open the service door and remove the old unit using its release buttons.
