LG washing machine water level problems
As the drum fills, rising water compresses air in a small hose that runs down to the tub. The pressure switch reads that air pressure and tells the control board when the right level is reached. When the switch fails or drifts, the machine may overfill, keep filling and draining, stop with a water level error such as PE, or refuse to start a wash. A blocked or split pressure hose, or a clogged air chamber, causes the same faults, so check those before replacing the switch.

Replacing the pressure switch
Turn the washer off at the wall, unplug it and turn off the taps. On many LG front loaders the switch sits under the top panel. Photograph the wiring plug and hose position, then unclip the old switch. Fit the new one, reconnect the hose firmly with no kinks, and run a rinse cycle to check the fill level.
