6600JB3001F is a genuine LG micro switch used in the ice system of LG fridges. Micro switches are small push switches that tell the control board when a lever, paddle or door has moved, so a failed one can leave part of the ice function doing nothing at all. Check the number on your old switch or your fridge's parts list, as LG uses several similar micro switches.
LG fridge ice not dispensing or ice function dead?
In an LG fridge's ice system, a micro switch senses when something has moved, such as the dispenser paddle being pressed or a part of the ice system reaching its position. The board uses that signal to start or stop a motor or flap. When the switch wears out, its contacts stop closing reliably, so pressing the paddle does nothing, ice only comes out some of the time, or the ice function seems stuck. Before replacing it, rule out a frozen ice chute or an empty ice bin.

Changing the micro switch
Unplug the fridge or switch it off at the wall before removing any covers. Find where the old switch sits in the ice system and photograph its wiring and lever position. Ease it out of its clips, connect the new switch to the same terminals, and clip it in so the lever lines up exactly as before. Restore power and test the ice function.
