Look for the number on the label of your existing module, or check your parts list against the E-Nr and FD number from the rating plate. Send them to us through the parts enquiry form if you'd like a hand.

Faults that point to a control module

The control module is the electronic board that runs the appliance. It reads sensors and switches and powers the motors, valves, pumps and heaters at the right times. A failing module can cause a dead appliance with no display, a program that stops partway, components that never switch on, or random fault codes. Before replacing it, the parts it controls should be tested, because a shorted pump, heater or valve can mimic a board fault and may even damage a new module.

Part details

Genuine BSH part 657044

Also listed as 00657044

Electronic control module

For Bosch, Siemens and Neff appliances

Fitting the control module

Switch off at the wall and wait a few minutes before handling the board.
