Drum not turning on your Bosch dryer? This is the genuine 7PH1995 drive belt, part 650499, which Bosch and Siemens also show as 00650499. It wraps around the drum and runs off the motor pulley. Models on file include the Bosch WTE84101AU and WTW85460AU, the WTW87564AU and WTW87565AU, and the WTH8300AU and WTH85200AU, plus the Siemens WT47W580AU.
Signs of a worn or broken dryer belt
A dryer belt loops right around the outside of the drum and over a small pulley on the motor, with a tensioner keeping it tight. Each cycle flexes it thousands of times while it runs warm, so it slowly stretches, cracks and frays. When it snaps, the motor hums or the fan runs but the drum stays still, and clothes come out damp and sitting in the same spot. A slipping belt can squeal on start up or leave black rubber dust inside the cabinet.

Fitting the belt
Unplug the dryer and empty the condenser water container if it has one. Access is usually through the front panel once the top and kickboard are off. Wrap the belt around the drum with the ribbed side facing in, then route it around the tensioner and onto the motor pulley exactly as the old one ran. Turn the drum by hand a few times to check the belt tracks straight before closing up.
