LG washer overfilling, underfilling or showing a fill error?

A water level sensor is usually mounted high in the cabinet and connected to the tub by a thin air hose. Replacing the sensor

Unplug the washer before removing any panels. On most front loaders the sensor sits under the top panel. Pull the air hose off gently, check it's clear by blowing through it, and replace it if it's perished. Unclip the old sensor, move the connector across to the new one and push the hose firmly onto its spigot. Run a fill to check the level is right.
