Product details
This 63mm glass cover, stock code 647309, is a generic replacement for the oven lamp cover Bosch lists as 00647309. It sits over the oven light, keeping heat, grease and steam off the globe. Models on file include the Bosch HBA13B254A and HBA43B450A, the HBF133BS0A, the HBN3620AU and HBN4350AU, and the HBR43S450A, plus the B14M42N0AU.
Replacing a cracked or missing oven lamp cover
The glass cover protects the oven globe and its socket from grease, steam and direct contact with food or trays. Covers often crack from a knock with a tray, or get dropped and broken when someone removes them to change a blown globe. Running an oven without the cover leaves the globe exposed to fat spatter and cleaning sprays, which shortens its life and can damage the lamp holder. Replace it when it's chipped, cracked or missing, and check the globe at the same time.

Fitting the glass cover
Before ordering, measure the old cover to confirm it's 63mm. Switch the oven off at the isolator and wait until it's completely cold. Remove the racks and lay a cloth on the oven floor in case anything drops. Take off the old cover, check the globe while you're there, and fit the new cover the same way the old one came off. Make sure it's seated firmly before using the oven.
