When a Bosch dryer door handle needs replacing
The handle is the part you grab every time you load or empty the dryer, so it takes more wear than almost anything else on the machine. Over the years the plastic can crack at its mounting points, snap off completely or work loose so it flexes when you pull. Fitting the new handle
Unplug the dryer before working on the door. Look closely at how the old handle is held in place, as screws are often hidden behind trim or inside the door, and photograph each step as you go. Keep screws in a cup so none go missing. Don't force plastic clips with a screwdriver, ease them out with a plastic trim tool instead. Close the door after fitting and check it latches cleanly.
