Product details
Also listed as 00637443, part 637443 is a genuine BSH bushing for Bosch, Siemens and Neff appliances. A bushing is a sleeve that a shaft, pin or moving part turns or slides in. BSH uses many different bushes across its range, and they vary in bore size and shape, so the part number on your parts list or old bush is the best way to confirm this is the one you need.
How a worn bushing shows itself
A bushing guides a moving part and takes the wear so the housing around it doesn't. As the bush wears, the gap around the shaft or pin opens up. That shows up as wobble, knocking or squeaking, a part that no longer lines up properly, or uneven wear on surrounding components. Leaving a worn bush in place can damage the shaft or the housing itself, which turns a cheap fix into a bigger repair, so it's worth replacing at the first sign of play.

Fitting a new bushing
Make sure the appliance is unplugged before you start. Check the shaft or pin that runs in the bush for scoring or wear, as a damaged shaft will chew through a new bush quickly. Clean the housing, press the new bushing in square, and turn or slide the moving part by hand to check it runs freely before reassembly.
Questions about this part
Is 00637443 the same part as 637443?
Yes. BSH writes many of its part numbers with two leading zeros on parts lists and labels, so 00637443 and 637443 are the same bushing and either number will find it.
