Product details
Listed as hinges in the plural, BSH part 626984 is a genuine door hinge part for Bosch, Siemens and Neff appliances. It's also known as 00626984. BSH uses different hinges for dishwashers, ovens and integrated fridges, so the number is the key. Check it against the code on your old hinge, or on a parts list for your E-Nr, before ordering.
When appliance door hinges need replacing
Hinges carry the weight of the door and control how it opens and closes. Worn or broken hinges show up as a door that drops open too fast, won't stay closed, sits crooked against the cabinet or grinds and clicks as it moves. On integrated appliances a tired hinge can also push the decor panel out of line with the kitchen cabinetry. Since both sides do the same amount of work, it usually makes sense to replace the left and right hinges together.

Fitting replacement hinges
Switch the appliance off at the wall. Hinges are often under spring tension, so support the door and release any springs or counterbalance cords before undoing the screws. Swap one side at a time to keep the door lined up, and take photos as you go. Finish by opening and closing the door several times to check it moves smoothly and seals evenly.
