Product details
Front loader door hanging low or catching on the frame? Part 624339 is a genuine BSH hinge for the door window, the round porthole door on Bosch and Siemens front load machines. It's also catalogued as 00624339. There are no model numbers on file for this hinge yet, so match the number on your old hinge or quote your machine's E-Nr when you get in touch.
Signs the door hinge on your front loader is worn
The window hinge carries the full weight of the porthole door, glass and all, every time it swings open. Over years of use the pivot wears or the hinge cracks where it's fixed to the cabinet, and the door starts to drop. A drooping door can rub on the seal, miss the lock so the machine won't start, or leak at the bottom of the door. Leaning on an open door or resting heavy baskets on it speeds up the wear.

Swapping the hinge
Switch off at the power point and pull the plug. Support the door while you remove the hinge screws, as the glass makes it heavier than it looks. Some BSH models need the front panel or door ring loosened to reach the hinge fixings. Fit the new hinge, refit the door and close it gently to check it meets the lock squarely before running a test wash.
